Join us for “Food Sovereignty and Me,” an evening of community, culture, and delicious food on February 28, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at 1623 Benhill Ave.
This potluck-style event celebrates the connection between food and Black culture. Guests are encouraged to bring a dish representing their family, culture, or home country to share and discuss its significance.
The evening will include remarks from BYI staff, an opportunity for attendees to share their connection to the community, and a chance to learn about the dishes brought by others. We’ll also have music, refreshments, and time to mingle.
