We hope to see you on Monday, October 16th for this year’s End Dependence Day. For this year’s event we are aiming to promote celebration, learning and rest.
We are celebrating the completion of two long term projects for Black Yield Institute. The first is our Cherry Hill Food Apartheid Study, a community sourced report on the conditions of food in Cherry Hill. The second cause for celebration is that this event will serve as the grand opening of The Vault, our multifaceted community knowledge resource.
We hope to learn from the results of our Food Apartheid Study as well as from everyone in attendance at the event.
Finally, let’s talk about rest. Take a deep breath, because this year’s event will be curated to promote personal and collective rest.
